We got made led light strips with cable for the engine room and for under the spreaders at The Led Shop in Avenue Prince Hinoi, just across the strees from the Shell Station and Hotel Tahiti Nui. Owner speaks English. It was not expensive – about 2000 xpf for a 50cm long light strip with cable, made the same day or the day after. He was a bit sloppy on the gluing, but everything works fine, so the only problem was estethically. Had to pay cash.

It is located near the TARAVAO crossroads, a stone's throw from the marina, and is open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, thanks to machines operating with tokens. 10-2020 SV Baloo There is a self-serve laundromat next to Carrefour on the same side of the street (next to a snack and insurance office). They have five washer machines and four dryers, all in good repair and clean. There is an attendant on duty. 11kg front loader was 1300xpf to wash. The dryers are gas and fast at an additional charge. – Baloo

They make mirrors and all things (Lexan). Will cut to size, round the corners and drill but their charges

7-2022 SV Auntie I had a temporary acrylic port lite made. David speaks English and was helpful, turn
around time for a simple piece was quick, I gave them my pattern piece late Wednesday afternoon,
finished piece was ready on Friday morning. I found the prices to be reasonable with the exception being
the price for drilling holes is high. The material selection is a bit limited, for example the thickest glass
for a mirror is 6 mm.

Nautisport have a big life raft and dinghy service centre. It’s 6km from the marina. Station de Survie
Nautisport, Servitude Vaimoana Rd, Arue. They service and certify life rafts for aircraft commercial boats
as well as yachts.
Nautisport has a dedicated team for life rafts. Not cheap.

From downtown, take the main road toward (Arue/Point Venus). Just past Brassier (B3) turn right. Take
this road to Arue. Once in Arue, you will see a SHELL gas station, then a Tahiti Pas Cher on your right.
(It is across from the monument "Tomb of King Pomaver V"). Turn right on the dirt road (immediately
past Tahiti Pas Cher). The dirt road dead ends into a warehouse, turn left and then make an immediate
right. Station de Survive Nautisport will be on the right. On GoogleMaps it is listed as "Station de Survie
Nautisport".
We rented a car and drove our life raft to Nautisport. Terangi is really nice and speaks excellent English!
He unloaded our life raft and immediately set to the inspection/servicing. We watched him inflate, make
all checks and walk us through the life raft (it was new to us). We stayed about an hour and then left as
he was testing air pressure and we did not need to see that. Two hours later we paid our bill $690 for
our Viking 8-man offshore life raft service and certificate. The cylinder did not need to be replaced. Then
we picked up our life raft. It was a very interesting and pleasant experience.
Nautisport will pick up and deliver the life raft if requested for an additional 3000f-4000f. It is totally
worth seeing the process and the life raft inflated. I highly recommend renting a car (Eco car was $44/
day).
