Rudy, helped me solve that problem as well as educating me on the issues. We also had issues on our battery charging system. He took the time to slowly and thoroughly diagnose the problem, then resolve it, and then educated us in a manner that was easy to understand and not at all condescending. His calm reassuring manner made us feel at ease and encouraged us to ask questions so that we could fully understand the issues so that we could prevent further problems and maintain our system properly. I would highly recommend him for all boat issues, from electrical to mechanical and everything in between. My water maker had a slow leak at the one of the ferrules and was only operating at 2/3 capacity. The Sopom β€œspecialist” came to work on our watermaker and told me that he couldn’t fix the leak and that we would need to order a number of new SS parts. He also said that we had to chemically clean our membranes to improve production. I was able to fix the leak myself with fine wet/dry sandpaper and rubbing compound. I did 2 types of chemical cleaning with chemicals I purchased from them. No change. The problem was with the high-pressure pump, which I rebuilt and reinstalled. The system is now 100%.
