SV 2K We bought some teak in January, local grown. Gas station at the bottom of Cooks Bay He
also have loads of other local grown wood as well as a great wooden workshop.
I took a walk and directions are as follows: Turn left after the church next to the gas station, keep right
when the road divides and continue walking up for

10-15 minutes. You will pass a large storage for
wood, just keep walking until you see the large woodshop with a lot of machinery on your righ

Polymat
There is a pretty decent hardware store on Moorea, just east of Maharepa, called Polymat.
They have just about everything, and at least one employee speaks English

Ace owns Poly Bois so you can order from them in town. Marine plywood is available in 6,9 and 15 mm.
They will deliver wood.

01-2019 SV Mary Ann 2 THERE IS NO TEAK IN PAPEETE. This statement is based on speaking to four
lumber yards. Poly Bois is often recommended but they have not stocked teak in several years. Exterior
ply wood go to Hyper Bricolage, see hardware. Poly Bois which is 2 kilometers up Avenue Tipearui.
They carry marine plywood but only full sheets, they also stock several hardwoods that are very marine
compatible which are sold as decking, such as Epi.
